Esta es la historia de Jesús vista a través de los ojos de niños que vivieron en la época en que Jesús estuvo en la tierra. Sigue de cerca las vidas de Benjamín, Caleb, Sara, Joel, Lea y Natanael, que viven en Jerusalén en el año 30d.C. Ellos escuchan las historias del hombre de Nazaret que cura a los enfermos y resucita a los muertos. Les cuesta entenderlo todo: algunos provienen de familias que creen que Jesús es el hijo de Dios mientras que otros no. Lo observan desde las multitudes. Ven cuando lo traicionan, lo acusan falsamente, lo crucifican y entierran. Sin embargo, tienen presente la promesa de Jesús y saben que lo volverán a ver.
